The Youth Center of Vlora held a meeting with the members of the Local Council for Public Safety in Himara.

The members were informed on the role of the LCPS as a body which works to address the safety issues at the local level.

There were also shared the findings of the study conducted in the frame of the project and discussions took place on the challenges of local safety specifically related to the lack of cooperation between the community and the public institutions.
The present members expressed their commitment to cooperate to have a functional council and manage the cases in order to enhance the community life quality.
