On 01.12.2022, in the frame of the 16 days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, the NGO “Unë, Gruaja” organized an awareness raising event with the students of the high school “14 Engjëjt”.

The activity was focused on informing the youth on the concept of gender based violence and the members of the DV Referral Mechanism. They were also informed on the gender stereotypes, how they manage the family issues and the psychological phenomena accompanying the victims of domestic violence etc.

There participated students, school psychologist, the DV coordinator of the municipality, the child protection unit, the community policing officer who spoke on the role of the State Police and the awareness raising activities performed on gender based violence and other safety issues which are a challenge for the teenagers.
